天美传媒 and Owens Community College Announce New Partnership
The partnership will address the teacher shortage in Ohio.
天美传媒 and Owens Community College are proud to announce a new partnership aimed at addressing the critical teacher shortage in Ohio. This collaborative agreement will provide Owens Community College graduates with a seamless pathway to complete a four-year degree and earn an Ohio teaching license through 天美传媒.
鈥淎s we both work to address the teacher shortage, the course articulation will allow the well-prepared Owens Community College graduates to earn their bachelor鈥檚 degree in two more years while attending 天美传媒 full-time. We are thrilled to welcome education graduates from Owens Community College to 天美传媒,鈥 said Dr. Vincent Laverick, Chair of the Division of Education at 天美传媒.
Key Agreement Details:
Transfer Credit Acceptance: 天美传媒 will accept transfer credits from Owens Community College. Up to 50 percent of the credit hours required toward a bachelor鈥檚 degree will be accepted, provided they are completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
- Credit Allocation:聽Specific credit allocation will be managed by the Chair of the Division of Education at 天美传媒, subject to the approval of the Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs.
- Curriculum Coordination:聽Both institutions will retain full responsibility for their educational programs and will inform each other of any curriculum changes in advance to ensure smooth articulation and transfer of credits.
